The pages on this site are general information about fractional aircraft ownership, jet cards, charter and the operators that offer them. Nothing on the site is legal, tax, investment or financial advice, and reading it creates no advisor-client or attorney-client relationship with Fractional Aviation Advisors.

A decision about a share, a card or an agreement should rest on the current documents, on your own circumstances and on advice from your own qualified professionals. Legal and tax questions belong with your own counsel and tax advisor.

A statement about an operator's program reflects the operator's own published pages, read on the date given in the note at the foot of the page that makes the statement. A figure labelled illustrative is arithmetic on round numbers and is not any operator's pricing. Where we do arithmetic on an operator's displayed figures, the page says so.

Where a page describes a contractual provision in general terms, it describes what is commonly found in fractional program agreements and states our own view. It does not describe any operator's current agreement except where the operator publishes the term.

Program pricing, terms, availability, fleets and contractual provisions change, often without notice. Current operator documents and the executed agreement control. Verify current terms directly with the operator before acting on anything here.

We are not a direct air carrier, an air charter broker, a broker-dealer, a lender, a law firm or a tax advisory firm, and we do not operate aircraft. Where a page names an operator, the name and marks belong to that operator, and the page is neither endorsed by nor connected with it.

Who holds operational control of a flight depends on the regulatory framework it is flown under. For a flight operated under Part 135, the certificate holder has operational control (14 CFR 135.77). For a qualifying program flight under Part 91 Subpart K, the directing owner holds operational control under 14 CFR 91.1009. When that owner delegates tasks to the program manager or relies on its expertise, both are responsible for compliance under 14 CFR 91.1011.
